Over the last year Jonian has appeared as soloist with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe conducted by Sir András Schiff at the Kronberg Festival, the Athens State Symphony at Megaron Hall and Scottish Chamber Orchestra at Tivoli Hall.
He gave a recital at Wigmore Hall and made his debut at the Konzerthaus Berlin as soloist and artistic director of the
CAERUS chamber ensemble. His second CD ''A Journey for Two'' with cellist Vashti Hunter was released on CAvi Music in September 2020.
Festival appearances included the Lockenhaus Kammermusikfest (Austria) and Schubertiade (Austria), collaborating with Nicolas Altstaedt,Steven Isserlis, Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Vilde Frang and Kian Soltani, among many others.
This season Jonian performs Shostakovich’s Concerto No.1 with the Athens State Symphony, and appears as soloist with the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Meininger Hofkapelle and Stadtheater Erfurt. He collaborates with Steven Isserlis at Wigmore Hall (broadcast by Radio 3), returns to Wigmore Hall with Trio Gaspard, performs strings quartets and trios with his CAERUS chamber ensemble and returns to Leeds,Tresanton and Bath for various recitals.
